Dear Jyotsna, Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for MBA at LPU is: Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) You can SEE even with the relaxation is some categories, with 47% you cant enter into this programme. I regret to say hat you are ineligible. DVD.

On inquiring I came to know that LPU offers more than 250 programmes and MBA is one of the flagship programme of LPU. In order to take admission, you need to be eligible. The eligibility is 55% + Interview* or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) *Interview will be conducted to check the communication skills, general knowledge, fluency, critical thought etc. It is mandatory to get atleast 50% to take admission in regular MBA and for elite programme like Honours and some specialised MBA the eligibility norms are little stringent. I also came to know that LPU gives 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants. So, you need to check the relaxation criteria, if you fall under that category then you are eligible. LPU's Business School is ACBSP accredited, its a US based organisation which provides accreditation services to business school all around the world, so you are getting a degree accredited by USA. Just updating, few days ago, LPU's B-School has been ranked among top 50 institutes by NIRF 2020. LPU offers three types of MBA I. e. #Normal MBA (six trimesters) with specialisations as Marketing, Finance and HR #Specialised MBA I. e MBA (Financial Markets), MBA (Supply Chain), MBA (International Business), MBA (HHM), MBA (Business Analytics) and MBA (Tourism and Hospitality) #MBA (Hons) which is a purely residential programme. If any student who has completed his/her Chartered Accountant, he has the option of doing MBA in Corporate Affairs, Corporate Audit and Tax Management or Cost Management and Financial Analysis. No, you cannot do MBA if you have scored less than 50%. To get admission in MBA from LPU you must pass a Bachelor degree with an aggregate percentage of 50% or upto 80 percentile in CAT. Thank you.

LPU conducts a common entrance test LPU-NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test) for admissions to its various UG and PG courses. Interested candidates can apply online. Eligibility Criteria: *The candidate should be a Graduate (or equivalent) in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate. *The candidates who have a valid CAT/MAT/XAT score is eligible for admission through Interview only. They are not required to appear for LPU-NEST. *Candidates who have scored 60% or above in graduation, they can seek admission by directly appearing for the interview.
