Can I do MD without MBBS?

<p dir="ltr">No, candidates cannot do MD medicine without MBBS. An MBBS degree from any college recognised by the MCI is required for both the MS and MD programmes in India. For candidates to pursue a specialisation in MD or MS, they must also have a NEET score or clearance from any other exam.</p><p dir="ltr">Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery is the full form of MBBS. MBBS is an undergraduate programme for people who desire to pursue their ambition of becoming doctors. It is a medical Science professional degree. The MBBS programme consists of five years of study in 19 medical courses, followed by six months of internship. The NEET is used to assess MBBS admission eligibility. Students must be over the age of 17 and have finished Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects to be eligible for the NEET. Students will be qualified as medical practitioners or doctors after completing the MBBS and receiving the degree.</p>
