Dalhousie University requires international students to meet the university and the programme requirements both. This also includes proof of English Language proficiency through IELTS. The required band for IELTS is 7. However, the language proficiency test can be waived if the applicant has completed a degree at a recognised university where the language of instruction is English in a country where English is one of the national languages. International students can also appear for other English tests such as TOEFL, Duolingo, PTE, or CAEL.
