    Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University.     As per the eligibility, Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. There are a lot of advantages of appearing for LPU NEST including attractive scholarships. I would advise you to apply for LPU NEST it's much easier that way plus it has more scholarship chances but without it also you can take admission. The admission procedure is very simple in college. What you need to do, is have your all original academic documents along with you to get admission.

    Hi, Yes, you can get admission but you have to fulfil the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. Moreover, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST. Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more.     On inquiring, I came to know that in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. Addressing your concern, yes you need to appear in LPU NEST which is remotely online proctored test which will be conducted from home due to COVID-19. I also heard that LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students:

    As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI.
