Can I get admission in LPU on the basis of class 12th marks or UPSEE without giving LPU-NEST?

I may get 85+ in class 12th and 224 marks in UPSEE examination (rank not declared yet). I want to take admission in LPU but I missed the last date of LPU-NEST. Can I get admission on the basis of 12th marks?

It depends upon the course you are looking for. LPU runs around 200+ courses. Each and every course has different eligibility. LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is that if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester.

It totally depends for which programme you are aspiring? Type 1 programmes like B.Tech CSE, LPU NEST is must to qualify. Type 2 programmes like BBA B.Com LPU NEST is not mandatory but minimum requirement of percentage is to be MET for admission. I hope it helps!

I would like to recommend those who have valid and eligible JEE Main scores then they could go for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the points why one must consider B.Tech from LPU.

    2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You no need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc.

Yes, it should not be hard for you to get admission to the University of Western Australia as an Indian student with 50% in class 12th. However, please note that it does not put you in the top applicants either. The general admission percentage requirement for international students is 50 to 65%.

Look at the other admission requirements -

  • English proficiency tests with IELTS (bands 6.5) or TOEFL iBT (82+)
  • High school Diploma from a recognised board like CBSE or ICSE etc.
  • Some course-specific subjects for Engineering programs

Top universities require a minimum of 80-90% in your 12th-grade board exams.

  • Average universities often accept students with 60-75%.
  • For highly competitive courses like Medicine, cut off is usually higher.
  • Strong SAT/ACT scores can also compensate for a slightly lower board percentage.

Countries like Germany and Norway are excellent options. Because public universities there charge little to no tuition fees.  The cost of living and education is significantly lower compared to the USA or UK. You must factor in living expenses and language requirements.
