    Dear Manish, Yes, you can get admission in LPU to pursue B.Tech through lateral entry after a Diploma in the engineering programme. Being alumni of LPU, I will share details of the B.Tech lateral entry at LPU with you.     Hi, B.Tech. [Lateral Entry]: The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST.     Hi, Yes, of course, you can get admission in LPU to pursue B.Tech [Lateral Entry]. Doing B.Tech from LPU will open the door of opportunities for you because the teaching methods are commendable. You will become that capable of getting placed in the best company with a handsome salary package if you want a campus placement. The highest package availed is 42 LPA by Microsoft, 35 LPA by WorkIndia, 30 LPA by Amazon, and many more with an average package ranging from 5-10 LPA.     Dear Manish, yes you can proceed for admission by lateral entry. I want to update you for LPU admission process.     Yes it is possible to get admission into B.Tech through lateral entry. At present, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) (3yrs. After 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-medical)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent. There are also host of scholarships available in different categories and criterion:

    Hello,
    Firstly, I would like to tell you the Eligibility criteria for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) that is, pass with 60% in Diploma (engineering) {Any Stream} ( 3yrs after 10th or 2yrs after 10+2) {Non-Medical} or B.Sc. {Non-Medical}/ B.Sc. {Computer Science} or equivalent subjects. After fulfill this criterion of Eligibility, You can pursue B.Tech (Lateral Entry) as the admissions are open directly.
  • Manish, it is possible to take admission in lateral entry if you fulfill the eligibility criteria. The criteria is
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering.) (any stream) (3 years after 10th) or B.Sc.(Non-Medical) or B.Sc.(Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017.
    Or
    In case marks scored in Diploma (engineering.) or B.Sc.(Non-Medical) or B.Sc.(Computer Science) are 70% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

    Yes, you can get the admission as LE. You will get the clear details, once you contact to the admission department of LPU. You should have a minimum of 60% marks and you are good to go.

    The eligibility for lateral entry in B.Tech at LPU is passing with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering). (Any stream) (3 years after class 10th) or B.Sc (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017. Or, in case marks scored in Diploma (engineering) or B.Sc (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Computer Science) are 70% or above, then LPUNEST-2020 will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
