    If you want to take admission in B.Tech programme than it is not possible. You willhave to clear the LPU NEST entrance to get admission in LPU. For more details please check the LPU website or call at the toll free number 1800 102 4431.

    Yes, if your class 12th aggregate marks are above 95%. Otherwise, you need to give JEE Mains or LPUNEST.
  • Kavitha, you can be exempted of LPUNEST as well as JEE if you have 90% or more in class 12. The eligibility of B.Tech is
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main)
    OR
    In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main) will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

    It depends on which course you want to pursue. If you want to take admission in engineering, it is mandatory or others it may not be. There is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST exam + Interview.

    Certainly, LPU offers some courses viz. BBA B.Com BCA etc. Where you can taken direct admission. For interested programme you can visit the university official website and check the eligibility conditions and proceed accordingly.

    Hi Kavitha, you can surely get admission in engineering courses at LPU without taking IIT JEE exams. LPU conducts its own entrance test, LPU NEST. For most of the engineering programmes it is mandatory to qualify LPU NEST. Also, LPU NEST can get you a scholarship as well. Let me tell you more about LPU NEST.     Hi, the first thing I want to say your decision for choosing LPU to pursue any course is a good idea. Yes, You can get admission in LPU without LPU NEST but only in certain courses, where the university does not include LPU NEST as a part of eligibility. You are supposed to fulfill the eligibility criteria, for that course. LPU NEST conducted by LPU is basically an entrance and scholarship test which helps to fulfill the eligibility criteria as well as get the maximum scholarship.     You can get admission in the university based on LPU NEST provided you have the minimum required percentage in your 12th. LPU NEST is basically an entrance exam as well as the scholarship test, based on your scores in the exam will tell you how much scholarship you will get per semester.
