Can I get admission in LPU without appearing for LPU NEST and JEE Mains exam?

It depends on the programme in which you want to take admission in LPU. LPU NEST is not mandatory for the every programme that LPU offers. As per the eligibility criteria if LPU NEST exam is mandatory to qualify than student have to clear that exam in other courses student can appear for this exam for scholarship purposes only.

Well, it depends upon the programme you would like to take admission in. What eligibility criteria it follows. LPU runs around 200+ programs and each programme has different eligibility criteria. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for scholarship for most of the programmes. LPU offers 200+ programmes and each programme eligibility and admission criteria specified. Well, you can take admission at LPU engineering programme without these mentioned exams only on one condition that either you should have 90% or above in 12th boards result or you scored 90 or above percentile in JEE Mains exam. Only by this way you are exempted from LPU NEST exam. If you have above 90% in 12th then you are exempted from LPU NEST and JEE Mains and take admission in LPU.

LPU is a premier university of India with top placements, world-class infrastructure and faculty. There are more than 200 courses in the university. Each course has certain eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by a candidate to get admission. For example, if you want to take admission in Diploma course a candidate must have 50% marks in 10th. Similarly for B.Tech a candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class 12th (PCM) and qualify LPU NEST/JEE Mains. All the best. -
