I am afraid with a lower score you may not be able to get through, however, if you have more than 90% in 10 plus 2, then there is no need of writing the exam.
Moreover, there is LPUNEST, which can not only make you eligible for admission but better scholarships too.

Yes, You can definitely do B.Tech after Diploma. For admissions, 2020, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3yrs. after 10th or 2 yrs after 10+2(Non-Medical)) or B.Sc (Non-medical)/ B.Sc(Computer Science) or equivalent. LPU also offers different scholarship slabs on tuition fees per semester. The JEE Mains score of 80%ile is valid for admission as well as scholarship.
I am afraid with lower score you may not be able to get thorough, however if you have more than 90% in 10 plus 2, then there is no need of writing the exam.

Rahul, with this JEE mains score you cannot get admission in B.Tech. But don't worry, you buy the prospectus which is having LPU NEST form. Fill the form and you will get date for LPU NEST test.
