Can I get admission through lateral entry? I am pursuing Diploma in automobile and want to continue in with chemical engineering.

Hi, now you are doing Diploma after that you will get admission to directly in the second year of engineering in any college as per your rank. When you fill direct second year admission form you can easily change your branch and you will get admission in the branch which is mentioned in your admission form. So yes you can get admission through lateral entry.
