Can I get admission to B Tech Mechanical Engineering course without giving the entrance exam?

<p>There are many colleges and universities in India that do offer admission to BTech Mechanical Engineering considering the Class 12 board exam marks of the students. These institutions mostly take extra assessment rounds like the GD or PI round to test the capability of the students who apply for the course.</p><p>If you have a list of preferred Mechanical Engineering colleges, you can simply visit their official websites and confirm whether they offer merit-based admission or not. Since most of the top colleges, like the IITs and the NITs, require valid entrance test scores, it is better if you work hard and give the entrance exam as well to keep both the options, merit and entrance, for admission open.</p>
