The admission in the B.Tech. course at DNR College of Engineering and Technology (DNRCET) is based on the candidates' performance in the EAMCET. EAMCET is conducted for the candidates who are natives of Andhra Pradesh and the Telangana States.

The candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 studies from the CBSE / ICSE / other recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and minimum 45% marks in the final examination (40% for SC / ST / OBC) are eligible to apply. Lateral Entry admissions are granted on the basis of merit in ECET.
