Bachelors of Physiotherapy is 4.5 years course with 9 semesters . student should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST OR NEET.
LPU BPT is approved by IAP ( Indian Association of Physiotherapy) , moreover LPU has its own hospital in which you can have practical knowledge of the same. This builds up the confidence of the student and make them more familiar with their work.
LPU also has a good placement cell of this department which is not at all fake. Students can attain positions in sports training centres, health and fitness centres, hospitals, physiotherapy & rehabilitation centres, spastic societies and special schools. Opportunities also include pursuing higher studies in reputed universities in India and abroad. Students can also avail jobs in health insurance and medical coding companies.
Strong emphasis is laid on the theoretical and practical aspects of physiotherapy and healthcare through courses on clinical. Not only Physiotherapy students are also offered by subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability which is also important simultaneously
LPU has art labs such as such as orthopaedic physiotherapy, general medicine, electrotherapy, neurology provide hands on learning to the students.
