You are eligible to appear for AMIE examinations conducted by Institution of the Institution of Engineers (India) IEI. The IEI is the national organization of engineers in India. The IEI conducts an examination of its associate membership. This examination (Section A & Section B) is considered to be on par with BE / B.Tech.
Candidate who plan to appear for Section A & B are required to apply for membership as first step in joining AMIE. The membership is a term which is to be taken in the same sense as that of admission. Based on basic qualification, there are different classes of memberships.

Pursue AMIME from Institution of Mechanical Engineers as more optional subjects are available there.
