Can I join BTech at IIT Madras without JEE?

  • No, IIT Madras BTech admission is only based on candidates' performance in JEE Maine exam, followed by the counselling round. JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to IITs. Candidates who have qualified for JEE Main are only eligible to appear for JEE Advanced entrance test for admission to IIT Madras BTech courses. To seek admission to the BTech programme offered at IIT Madras, candidates need to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and fill out the application form in online mode for JEE Main.
