For B.Tech lateral entry in CSE from LPU, you will require 60% marks in any stream of Diploma (engineering. ). Along with LPU-NEST which is an entrance as well as scholarship. Well, as far as I know, Diploma holders can apply for LPU B.Tech Lateral entry programme with any stream of engineering. Lateral entry means the admission will be directly in the 2nd year of the course. You do not have to take admission in 1st year you will be directed to 2nd year of any undergraduate programme. Basically, for admission in B.Tech CSE lateral entry on Diploma basis, eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidate which says Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). Yes, sure you can do it. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for the same. As per the Eligibility criteria for B.Tech CSE Lateral Entry is to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST.
