Yes, you can pursue B.Tech CSE after Diploma, Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. Well, as far as I know, Diploma holders can apply for LPU B.Tech Lateral entry programme with any stream of engineering. Lateral entry means the admission will be directly in the 2nd year of the course. You do not have to take admission in 1st year you will be directed to 2nd year of any undergraduate programme. Basically, for admission in B.Tech CSE lateral entry on Diploma basis, eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidate which says Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 12th Moreover being a part of this programme (LET) you are directly saving your 1 year by directly entering in 2nd year which is beneficial for you.
