Now m in 2nd year of BscIT from Mumbai University. My question is can i apply for MS in IT feild after i complete my graduation? I googled and found that MS needs 16 years for educational years, but in my case it is 15. like 10(High school)+2(Junior College)+3(graduation). = 15! Needs Guidance!
Collecting degree is not enough u must have practically sound also. First of all i would like to suggest u that whatever u r doing do it thoroughly. Clear ur fundamental concepts. It should not be like that making second floor without any foundations. Industry requires Technically sound professionals not the theoretical persons. Instead of collecting degree take any International Certifications with u in less amount of time which helps u more. Lots of career lines are there in IT industry as well. No, you cant do MS because it is equivalent to M.Tech. You need atleast 16 years of study in India for that. After doing masters in india you can do MS abroad. If you want to move abroad only then take admission in MBA or M.Sc. Alternatively there are some universities which offer credit transfer programs that is half of the degree a student do in home country and second half in abroad and ultimately a student get the degree of abroad university. Some of well established universities where u can look such programs are Lovely Professional University, VIT etc.
