    Hello,
    Yes, you can prepare for the CAT indirectly in your second year. Since it usually takes 3-6 months to prepare properly for the exam, the third year would be more ideal to start your preparations in full swing. Good luck.

    Yes, it is better suggested by all to start preparing for CAT exam as soon as possible and you can take up the exam in 3rd year but you can start preparing from now on which will help you to get in a Good B-School.
