Yes, You can. But I will advise you to appear for LPU NEST as it is not only an entrance test, your score in LPU NEST also determines your scholarship. So, why miss the opportunity to bag a big amount of scholarship. But there are some streams where LPU NEST is compulsory so, the answer depends on the stream you are going to opt. I hope this answer will help you. Thank you.

Hi Sakshi, Sorry to break this out but I am afraid that it would not be possible to take admission in B.Tech mechanical engineering without appearing in an exam of LPU NEST. Eligibility criteria for getting admission in B.Tech programme is that candidate must have minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th class and English must be studied as a subject. Lpu Stood could be exam Shaan and only the case if you have more than 90% marks in 12th standard. For more and better information you can call them at their toll-free number or you can visit the university website. All the best for your future.

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. In order to manage time wisely during the LPU NEST examination, candidates should start their preparation by having some knowledge about the exam pattern and syllabus. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
