Can I take admission in LPU without giving LPU-NEST? I'm expecting to get around 70-79% in my 10+2 board exam.

Will I get any scholarship on the basis of my 10+2 marks even if I don't get any suitable rank in LPU-NEST?

Yes, you can, LPU offers more than 200 courses and the eligibility criteria is different for all, so it depends on the course you opt for. Check the website for more details.

LPU offers LPU NEST which may be mandatory or be optional, depends upon the requirement of the course. LPU NEST is Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test which serves two purposes I. e. eligibility and scholarship. There are some courses after 12th where you have to appear in LPU NEST for eligibility and scholarship and few courses where you can appear only for a scholarship means you may drop the test. Likewise for B.Tech test if your score is less than 90% then you have to give LPU NEST otherwise you are exempted and for the other programmes, LPU NEST is used for scholarship only.

You must have to appear in LPU-NEST exam. There is no way to get direct admission in LPU. LPU-NEST is very easy so don't worry. Appear in exam and get admission. All the best. Take admission in May, you will get 5000 more scholarship in LPU.
    All the best.

Yes, you'll get the scholarship on your mentioned marks too. Moreover, if you are opting for technical streams such as engineering, you have to show your JEE Mains qualification or your LPU-NEST clearance. You, need to clear at least one. If you haven't got both you'll not be able to take the admissions. Moreover, the exam is easy and proportionally offers better scholarships than your board and JEE Mains marks.

It depends in which programme you are enrolling your name. For most of the programmes you need a minimum percentage of 60, which is pretty applicable in your case and LPU NEST serves the purpose of both eligibility and scholarship, without which your admission can't be considered.
