Can I take admission in LPU without giving LPU-NEST? I'm expecting to get around 70-79% in my 10+2 board exam.

Will I get any scholarship on the basis of my 10+2 marks even if I don't get any suitable rank in LPU-NEST?

    Hi,
It would be a good decision to be a part of LPU; a premier institution catering to the all round development of its students. LPU NEST is a test which is conducted for a two way benefit of the students. LPU NEST would be mandatory for you if you are going to pursue your engineering branch as with your score you will have to give LPU NEST which is being conducted now a days in an online proctored mode due to the grim covid situation. The courses of engineering, MBA, PG Agriculture and Ph.D. require LPU NEST as mandatory. For other courses it can be taken for an additional slab of scholarship. So in such cases, LPU NEST would be optio

    Hello Mainak,
It will depend on the programme you want to enroll for. It is compulsory for some of the programmes. But, it will increase your scholarship chances. Yes, you can get scholarship on the basis of your 12th score.

The last date to apply for the entrance exam is 3rd May. However, for other courses, in which there is no entrance exam, say BBA BCA or Hotel Management, you can apply for direct admission, subject to fulfillment of their respective eligibility criteria. Also, your admission is withheld and is considered as provisional admission, until you submit the final result, in all cases.

Well, as per what I have read, it all depends on which programme you want to apply for. LPU offers more than 200+ courses, be it engineering, agriculture, Management, Honours programs. For those eligibility is 60%, some, it is 55% and for others, it is 50%. Moreover, there is direct admission to some courses and in some, it's mandatory to qualify for the LPU NEST exam and in some, the LPU NEST exam + Interview. Plus LPU NEST is a Scholarship Exam. It's a cherry on top for students to get their fees reduced. After all, it's a great opportunity. And LPU is one of the best private universities. Giving the best exposure, opportunities plus

Hi there, as far as the Lovely Professional University is concerned, you can take direct admission, however, there are certain programs in which you can get admission only if you qualify the entrance exam. Apart from that the programs such as BBA BCOMM, B.Sc. And B.A. Programs do not have mandatory entrance test as an eligibility, you can seek admission in these programs. However, you need to fulfil other eligibility conditions. Hope this information helpful!

If you are looking for admission in a course, say engineering, where the entrance exam is mandatory, then you have to appear for the entrance exam. If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. In order to manage time wisely during the LPU NEST examination, candidates should start their preparation by having some knowledge about the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates should take up regular timed mock tests that have a similar environment as the real exam in order to keep on improving with their speed and accuracy. It would be best to start with the questions with which candidates feel comfortable. Leaving out difficult questions would allow the candidates to return to them later, if time permits. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
