Hi,
Yes, you can take admission in MBA but you have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria i.e. 55% in graduation+Interview. However, there are some exceptions in certain cases of categories.
LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPUNEST, Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except for a few types of scholarships. T

Finance is definitely a good option if you are better with your accounts and numbers. This also has better job prospects. Eligibility: You are required to have 55% marks in your bachelor in any discipline. Moreover, you have to qualify for the LPUNEST exam and an interview. If you have qualfied MAT/CAT/XAT, then you are exempted from LPUNEST.
The fees of MBA at LPU is 190000 INR without any scholarship.

Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA is to Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview or Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).
LPU conducts LPUNEST as an entrance test for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes.
As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST.
Scholarship for a specific Programme depends on Performance in LPU NEST. There are three brackets:
LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category I cut-off

4. Apply for LPUNEST
5. Make the payment for LPU NEST and Book the slot for the Exam I. e date and time for the exam as per your availability.

7. Participate in the Interview process

Yes, you can opt for MBA in banking and finance. It is a 2 years' course. The student should have a qualified Bachelors degree in banking or any equivalent degree with 55% marks from a recognized university.
MBA in Banking and Finance helps you to build foundation in investment strategies, local & global economics, mergers and acquisitions, insurance and the corporate risk. You can apply for the posts like Financial Manager, Chief Technology Officer and Marketing Manager. MBA in banking and finance is in high demand. The starting package is from 3 to 6 LPA.

You can take admission in MBA if you qualify LPUNEST and interview. You must have 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's degree (any discipline) or equivalent. Scholarship for MBA ranges from INR 30000 upto 75000 per semester.

Yes, you can take admission as you qualify for the minimum admission criteria. Moreover, you need to give LPUNEST to take the admission, that will also decide your scholarship. Study hard for it, get a scholarship and try to get the maximum scholarship. Every opportunity will knock your door here at LPU. Just work hard for it throughout and you will soon stabilize yourself and your family as well.
