<p>Hi dear, Well being both alumni as well as an existing student at LPU, I feel I to answer your query. There are different kinds of scholarships that students are offered by LPU, depends which one gets to avail. The first one is based on the performance in LPU NEST for the courses where qualifying LPU NEST is mandatory to get admission. The scholarship is for whole degree except for Ph.D. where it is only for first three years, and scholarship is snatched if a student is found in any indisciplinary action.</p><p>The next is the scholarship to those students who are board level toppers. Their scholarship is also for whole duration of the degree but the student has to maintain the CGPA of 8, 8.5,9 and above with passing year otherwise the scholarship reduces. Then there comes the scholarship based on sports and other co-curricular activities. This scholarship is also condition based. These students have to maintain the performance with passing year otherwise the scholarship reduces. The next scholarship is to those students who have a background of armed forces (central only). This scholarship is valid for the whole duration of course.</p><p>Next scholarship LPU provides is to orphans and specially disabled students. This is also for the whole duration of course. The only exception there is of Ph.D. where the scholarship is only provided for first three years.</p>

Only if you are a board topper and someone from sports category and extra curricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extra curricular activities as thecase may be. Otherwise if you have got scholarship through LPU NEST there are no restrictions. Once you get a scholarship, you will get the same amount of scholarship throughout the programme. There are other scholarships too the university offers. LPU is one the best private university which scholarships on huge levels students from 70+ countries are studying and living together in LPU. Moreover every year thousands of students apply for admissions in LPU and get the advantage of scholarships. And the best of LPU scholarships is that they remain the same throughout your course duration but if any students s found breaking the rules or harming the reputation of the university the scholarships will be taken.
