Can I get direct admission in Indira Gandhi Government Dental College or do we need to qualify NEET?

<p>Candidates who wish to enroll in Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) in Jammu must be eligible to take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET. Without qualifying for NEET, direct admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme is not feasible. The college, like other dental schools in India, admits students according to the central admissions rules, which are determined by the NEET scores. Following NEET qualification, candidates must take part in the counseling process administered by the state counseling authority or the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), depending on whether the seat is subject to the State Quota or the All India Quota. Consequently, there is no option for direct admission without NEET, and it is required to gain admission to IGGDC for the BDS program.</p>
