Can you explain in detail the difference between electrical engineering and electronic engineering?

    ECE- Electronics and communication Engineering, I take from the question that you are still a novice in the field of 'higher education'. So, I will try to be as simple as possible.
    In ECE you study about devices and how they operate. You will know whats inside your cell phone, Laptop and other'electronic'devices. You will also know how these devices communicate with each other.
    EEE-Electrical and Electronics
    Without electricity there is no electronics. So, my brilliant engineering buddies who work as an electrical engineer can proudly say.'dude, we are why you exist' :) But, its true. we can never neglect the role of electricity.

    Syllabus of both BTech Electrical and BTech Electronics overlap up to 70 to 80%. Major difference between branch is on following major Electives : (a) Electrical has subjects such as Power, Generation and Distribution, Power management, Control , Instrumentation , SCADA etc. (b) Electronics has subjects as Electronic devices, Integrated circuits, microwave, Microprocessor, Communication Systems Digital Signal processing etc.

    electronic and electrical also
    difference is as follow
    Electrical Engineering is the field of Engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.
    and,
    Electronics Engineering is an Engineering discipline where non-linear and active electrical and electronics components and devices such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, etc. are utilized to design electronic circuits, devices and systems.
