Can you please explain different streams and their job scopes for a +2 science student?

My dream is to become an IAS officer. Please explain the way to civil services. Can I opt for history or politics for B.A? I am passed +2 science with 89% and 10th with 96%.

    Uhh can do your civil service after cmplt your graduation any tym. And uhh also clear UPSC exam to B.Com a IAS officer. Between uhh have to work hard for that, soo dat ur exam will be clear .

    Hello Fathima If you look at the pattern, Science students have majority in clearing UPSC exams. This is mainly because they become habitual of studying with patience and undertaking huge syllabi pressure. However, students taking up humanities (arts) subjects also succeed. Having history, political Science, geography etc. In school, and then doing graduation in any of these subjects helps a lot. The matter of fact is, a civil services Aspirant has to study from base in any case. Therefore doing graduation in a subject which you have thought of taking up in your Mains or in the subject which would help your prelims is recommended. It a

    Hi Fathima, You can appear for Civil Services after graduation of any kind, in any subject. However, students opt for courses which might help them while preparing for CS. If you look at the pattern, Science students have majority in clearing UPSC exams. This is mainly because they become habitual of studying with patience and undertaking huge syllabi pressure.
