Pharmacy colleges having attached hospitals provide the much desired on-the-job exposure under their care. In-house practice of clinical pharmacy and patients care, as well as in-hospital pharmacy management is available at these colleges as integrated courses. Some such recognized institutes are Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, NIPER, and JSS College of Pharmacy at Mysuru. But as far as K. K. College of Pharmacy, it doesn't have its own hospital. However, the clinical exposure is usually gained by the students through collaborations with the nearby healthcare facilities. Many Pharmacy colleges provide their own hospital for conducting hands-on training in real-life settings, which is beneficial for the Pharm.D. students. K.K. College of Pharmacy is known to have an affiliated hospital with the college, which provides practical exposure to the Pharm.D. students. This will make the students directly exposed to patient care and medication management, making their learning and training better. Information and the role of the hospital in the Pharm.D. Program at K.K. College of Pharmacy would be best obtained through communication with the college itself.
