    UP has a significant number of medical colleges (both government and private)

     Some of the premier government colleges include

    1. King George's Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow
    2.  Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College (GSVM) in Kanpur 
    3.  Faculty of Medicine at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)

     The cut-off scores for these can be quite high, with KGMU often requiring a NEET score above 650 for general category. Private colleges like Integral University and Hind Institute of Medical Sciences also offer MBBS. Yes, it is mandatory to appear for the ToGIGE even if the candidates have appeared for the NEET exam. The ToGIGE is a part of the selection process post the NEET exam. Those aspirants who clear the NEET cutoff are only eligible to appear for this test.
