    Dear Fakhruddin, There are many universities that offer a B.Sc. In Agriculture but being alumni of LPU and to the best of my knowledge, LPU is the best private university for B.Sc. In Agriculture. Let me tell you why. LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR. The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years with GPAC of 3.42
    Eligibility Criteria: You are required to pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent

    For B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any. LPU is the better option for this programme, my sister did her B.Sc in Agriculture from LPU and currently working with a reputed organisation.
