Can you suggest some books for the preparation for JEE Mains which I can study on my own without taking any coaching classes?

    You can refer to RD Sharma for mathematics, SL Arora for physics and Pradeep for chemistry.

    You should refer to the NCERT books for the preparation of JEE Mains exam.

    Hi,
    In my opinion, you should prefer HC Verma's physics and S. L. Loney publications for mathematics.

    Just focus on NCERT books and believe in clearing your concepts instead of practising with 1000s of MCQ. NCERT is best for JEE Mains.

    You can switch to HC Verma 'Concepts of Physics' and NCERT books for self studying effectively. You can also have a look at some of the Feynman lectures related to the syllabus of JEE Mains.

This is why you should definitely read your NCERT textbook before you go for more advanced, difficult textbooks.
