Dear Madam , I doubt if there is any Govt. College for animation courses in INDIA , Normally in India many institutes offer distance graduation programme in animation, VFX and film making . There are few things I would like to say in this regard, Animation/VFX/Gaming/web designing/graphic designing are some domains where actual skill which, one candidate has developed is valued more , rather than his/her degree , 1st thing which is required after the course completion is a clean and easy to understand , point to point resume & an appealing Demo Reel attracting attention , hardly a recruiter will have around 2 mints to spend on a freshe

A company with running project , always have a scope for the right candidate . Yes these days in many reputed companies , a graduation is mandatory, though not necessarily it has to be in animation . So my 1st point is clear, its up to you if you want to study further after your graduation or join a job , if your skills are up to the mark , a job must be ready for you. Most importantly , from my past experience , I would like to share , I dont suggest anyone to join a distance graduation programme on animation or VFX , due to very poor communication level / due to communication gap , maximum of the students who opt for such courses end up struggling for the exam dates , course completion certification and many more operational issues though out his course . Hence I suggest to join a long duration course which is by the institutes certification and not a distance course under any university. Also try to get maximum information about an institution before joining , as many of the institutes runs in franchise structure , though they get a brand name but the fact is that every center under the same brand name does not perform same . Suggestion : Join a long term 3D animation and VFX course under any institutes direct certification and not an university one. Simultaneously join any other regular graduation programme ( BA/B.Sc/B.Com ) under distance mode with proper affiliation. Concentrate on mastering the skills & build a international standard of demo reel , hope fully you can surely achieve success . If there is anything else , that I can help you out , please feel free to ask.
