    harenderbisht I used to think exactly the same. But so far, I have had a great online buying experience - from clothes to furniture and even electronics! So I won't complain. Basically, companies need to ensure fare return policies. Whenever I was dissatisfied with something, I received exchange/refunds.
    Like I said, this is wat a good retail management course should teach - customer is the king!

    harenderbisht There are pros and cons of every sector. Several points mentioned by you are right. They affect businesses.
    For instance, physical store experiences have improved tremendously and keeps attracting customers till date. Those failing to update can lose businesses and customers.
    Similarly, smartphone / app shopping deals are great. Just look at Amazon and Flipkart.
    As far as privacy is concerned, things are changing. Most processes and payment gateways are secure.
    At the end of the day, people have to focus on fundamentals. But when big players offer such lucrative discounts, it affects the bottom line of new and upcoming busi

    Hi, RM is no doubt a growing sector worldwide but the factors affecting it are as follows:
    1) Local people.
    2) there Environment
    3) Boring physical store experiences
    4) Shopping using smartphones isn't great
    5) Reduced privacy in exchange for deals
    6) Too much discounting hurting the bottom line
    7) Technology
    8) Economic Challenges
    9) Wrong location.
    10) Not focusing on the fundamentals.
