Could you please help me in differentiating OCA and OCP and also suggest me that can I directly opt for OCP rather than OCA and then OCP?

I am a 2014 B.Tech graduate, currently working in Birlasoft in a support project and want to move to development. Till date I don't have any experience of development so need your suggestion regarding certification in JAVA programming language. Please also suggest should I go for JAVA SE 6 or 7 ?

Hi Kashish67040, There are some certificates provided by oracle formerly by Sun Microsystem in java technologies. Which are like OCA, OCP, OCWCD etc. OCA is oracle certified java associate and OCP is Oracle certified java programmer, initially you can opt for any one here. And yes you can go fro OC
