Describe the Scholarships being provided by LPU.

LPU provides huge scholarships based on merit, need, and various other categories. If you want a 100% scholarship at LPU you need to be a sportsperson who has played at the national or international level, or a board topper, or a performer in music or dance. Not only the programme fee, but LPU also gives residential facilities for free as well to such students. However, there is a long list of scholarships that a student can avail of. A student can avail of a scholarship up to 50 pc by qualifying LPU NEST exam on merit. The students engaged in R & D, Social Service, winners of Bravery Awards, Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child (Need-Based), Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability, orphans, disabled, SC, ST, OBCs. Also, students studying in different schools managed by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan were on the basis of tests conducted in schools of the concerned organisation and or recommendation of the concerned authority of the organisation, certain students may be offered full tuition fee waiver.

Hii there, being a student of LPU I would like to answer your question Yes. LPU give scholarship. Mainly two categories of scholarships provided by the university The first category of LPU scholarship is performance, which starts from the merits student and goes to hidden talent. Various parameters of performance are: 1. Percentage in Eligibility Qualification / previous to eligibility qualification 2. LPUNest 3. National Level Tests like JEE Mains, NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT, etc. 4. Performance in Sports, culture, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service, and Bravery Awards 5. Toppers of School Education Boards The second category is Financial Aid for underprivileged students. These are: 1. Need-Based 2. Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents 3. Orphans 4. Persons with Certain Disability The scholarship is awarded in more than 150+ programmes, ranging from diplomas to Ph.D. Scholarship depends on the phase of admission.
