Dear Student, As I discussed with many students of LPU, I have come to know that LPU provides various scholarships worth crore rupees. Let me share the all parameters which are based on different scholarships provided by LPU. You can get 100% of scholarship based on the performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service, and Bravery Awards Scholarship applicable on the basis of Qualifying exam National Level Test LPUNEST exam Sports Cultural R & D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled room. To facilitate quality education to deserving applicants, LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to orphan students who are residents of India and whose both parents are dead. A maximum of 10 applicants will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of a first come first serve basis subject to satisfying the LPU policy for the same. Applicant having Benchmark disability of more than 40% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of full programme fee waiver subject his/her case being approved by Special Committee constituted by LPU. As per my knowledge and findings, Lovely Professional University scholarships generally are awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, culture, sports, or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. Financial Aid will be provided to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disabilities, etc. Or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel, etc. Being the largest University in the country, Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends the Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. LPU provides ample opportunities to its students in terms of placements, internships, industrial exposure. LPU Scholarship scheme upto Rs. 2.9 Lac per student Students have been awarded with scholarship worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only. Fee structure depends on many factors like the programme you want to join, the caliber of the student, the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and in the entrance tests if applicable. So, applicable fees for the programme depends on the Scholarships if any is applicable. Scholarship Categories: Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:1.Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification : (for example 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and graduation for PG Programmes). The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of qualification previous to Eligibility qualification. LPU always intends to provide scholarship to all eligible students in all possible ways so that fulfilling the fees criteria should not be the hurdle for any of the students to get quality education. There are certain excellent Scholarship Opportunities available in Lovely Professional University in all the courses. 1) There is upto 50% scholarship through LPU NEST Exam. 2) 100% scholarship may also be achieved through Sports / Cultural Scholarship. 3) Scholarships also been provided to the students based on Percentage in Qualifying Exam. 4) Defence Scholarship provided to wards of Defence personnel. 5) Scholarship can also be achieved based on Rank achieved in National level Test. 6) Scholarship on performance in Social Service / Bravery (NSS/NCC) 7) Scholarship on performance in Research & Development (R&D) 8) Board Topper, Orphan Scholarships are also available in LPU. 9) Scholarship also be extended to person with certain disability. One thing is good in LPU in terms of scholarship that, if any student is entitled with Academic Scholarship in the first semester, the same amount of scholarship will remain applicable for all the semesters of study.
