Describe the Scholarships being provided by LPU.

PU has always been generous and reasonable with their fee and scholarships that's why they provide a lot of pathways for a student to get scholarships and in some cases 100% scholarship (full tuition fee waiver). Normally, students give LPU NEST (eligibility and scholarship test) to calculate their scholarships. If a student wants to get a 100% scholarship, then there are other pathways like LPUTABS. Let's break them down one by one. Scholarships are applicable on the basis of Sports Cultural R & D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled room. To facilitate quality education to deserving applicants, LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to orphan students who are residents of India and whose both parents are dead. A maximum of 10 applicants will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of a first come first serve basis subject to satisfying the LPU policy for the same. Applicant having Benchmark disability of more than 40% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of full programme fee waiver subject his/her case being approved by Special Committee constituted by LPU. LPU offers exclusive Scholarship schemes for Tibetan Students studying in CTA (Central Tibetan Administration) Schools and Students studying in different schools managed by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan where on the basis of test conducted in schools of the concerned organisation and/or recommendation of the concerned authority of the organisation, certain students may be offered full tuition fee waiver. There are varied categories of scholarships which are provided and the candidate will be eligible for either one. The various categories under scholarship are : 1.
