    Hey rio,

I got 69 marks in 12th Board math and got 92% in jee. I cant apply for nit's but I got good college with this rank. Let me give the details:

You can write jee marks withouy any minimum marks in board but for getting admission in NIT, IIT or gift universities you should have 75% [65% for sc/st] in your boards or top 20% in your repective board.

With good jee percentage like above 90%, you can get many good unversities. So if you have low marks in 12th, you can consider jee as option.

For the GATE again, there is no minimum percentage required in the qualifying degree. Any qualified graduate degree in engineering, technology,

Candidates can apply for JEE Mains without the score of 75% in qualifying exam. The 75% criteria is applicable when you want to take admission in NIT, IIT or IIIT's.

Similarly for GATE there is no need of 75% marks but for admission in M.Tech in IIT's, NIT's you need 75% in your B.Tech or B.E degree.

Yes, candidates can appear for the JEE Mains exam without 75% marks in their qualifying exam. The 75% criteria is only applicable at the time of admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs and for appearing in JEE Advanced.

For Gate exam there is no such criteria that in your B tech or BE degree you have to obtain Minimum 75% for taking admission in M tech in IIT or NIT colleges.

Tech candidates do not have any specific percentage criteria. However, for admission to IITs or NITs, they typically require a minimum of 60% in B.E or B.Tech.
