Undergraduate economics programs such as the B.A. (Hons.) Economics at Delhi University accept both mathematics and applied mathematics as long as you fulfil the requirements. According to the DU criteria, the candidate must have completed their 12th grade coursework in mathematics or applied mathematics and received at least 50% in the discipline. Given how much economics requires mathematical ideas like calculus, algebra, and statistics, the course is required. It is imperative that the selection between Mathematics and Applied Mathematics be in accordance with the criteria of the program.
