Dear Aspirant, Yes, you have to pay for the placements classes but the fee is very nominal and worth paying. I always think about LPU when it comes to placements. LPU provides very good placement every year in all the programs. Almost more than 90% of students are placed on campus at LPU. Moreover, more than 500+ companies visit LPU for recruitment including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide place...more

Yes, we have to pay a nominal fee for placements and it's quite worth it. I have spent 4 years in LPU and yes of course I have been placed in good company with the handsome package. Honestly saying LPU has a great role in this. When I joined LPU I was not good at speaking, presenting but LPU gave me all required inputs through PEP classes and Soft Skill Classes which actually groomed me. LPU has a separate department of career services which help students in every step As per last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum and the maximum packages were 30 to 40 Lacs. Best Wishes

As far as I know, colleges do not charge extra fees from their student for placements, for example, LPU has a tremendous placement cell, around 600 companies visit their campus but they do not charge a single penny for students to sit on-campus placement. Lovely Professional University Placement Rankings:
LPU has been conferred with the National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for 7 consecutive years now. LPU has been ranked 5th by Outlook among the top 50 private state universities. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th Best Training and Placements Institution in India in the year 2019. Chronicle of Career and Educa...more -

Hi, There is a nominal, one-time charge for the placement. These are taken because students are provided with extra inputs for placements by the LPU faculty as well as external/corporate trainers. They also hold mock interviews and drives to ensure that students are recruited for the real drives. As a result, a great deal of effort is put into preparing students for placement, and the process begins from the beginning of their studies until they complete their degrees. So, that's why a minimal amount is charged for the same. Thanks.

Hi there, I am an alumni of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned is time management and discipline. Yes LPU does offer placement services and they have done many things. A lot of hard work is there of faculty of LPU and they are so good at this. They prepare their students for the placements. They arrange extra classes for PEP. And they work on their students communication skills & interpersonal skills, they arrange mock interviews and drives so that students get selected at the time of real drives. For this, they take some fee. And this is justifiable. I hope th...more

Yes, students do have to pay a nominal fee while registering for the placements and this fee is justifiable. As LPU organizes PEP classes for their students in these classes for preparing the students for placement drives. Communication skills and interpersonal skills polished in PEP classes. They also arrange mock interviews and drives so that students get selected at the time of real drives. So, a lot of hard work goes in the direction of making student placement ready and the process for the same is initiated right from the beginning to the completion of their degrees. So a nominal fee for the same is completely justifiable.

Hi, there I am an alumnus of LPU. LPU does provide placements students do not need to pay anything to sit in placement drives. It is LPU's responsibility to make their students get placed. The condition is just for the placement drive student must be eligible I mean to say is he/she must have 6.50 CGPA or they don't have any E, G, F, I & R grade otherwise if they have they are not eligible to sit in the placement drive. And apart from that LPU organizes PEP classes for their students in these classes students are being prepared for placement drives. Communication skills and interpersonal skills are being polished in PEP classes. Fo...more
