Do we need to study physics and chemistry to pursue B.Sc statistics?

The students planning to pursue a B.Sc. In Statistics must have completed 10+2 with subjects Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. At least a 50% mark from a recognised school in India is mandatory to get B.Sc. Statistics Admission.

B.Sc. Statistics is a three-year undergraduate degree programme that focuses on the study of statistical theory, mathematical Statistics Probability theory, statistical computing, and data analysis. The curriculum includes core mathematics and Statistics courses, along with elective courses such as applied Statistics biostatistics, econometrics, and actuarial Science.
