Do we need to study physics and chemistry to pursue B.Sc statistics?

The students planning to pursue a B.Sc. In Statistics must have completed 10+2 with subjects Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. At least a 50% mark from a recognised school in India is mandatory to get B.Sc. Statistics Admission.

In majority of universities, B.Sc Statistics does not include papers on Physics & Chemistry.
