For becoming a news anchor skills are the first priority, A Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or a related field is generally the first step in becoming a news anchor. These 3-year degree programs include coursework in media ethics, editorial writing, visual technology and investigative reporting. Height is not important but yes, personality matters, and 5.5 is good height so be confident and good luck.
