Does LPU conduct placement classes for preparation?

I am an alumni of Lovely Professional University and I have knowledge about this that LPU provides classes for placement preparation and that starts from the first year. These placement classes are very beneficial for the students as they help them in overcoming nervousness and becoming confident. The university has a Center for Professional Enhancement (CPE), which helps students acquire new skill Sets according to the ongoing industry demands. These students can get inputs based on aptitude, logical reasoning, soft skills, and verbal ability, which is a part of the curriculum. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visit for the recruitment of students since a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. I always think about LPU when it comes to placements. LPU provides very good placement every year in all the programs. Almost more than 90% of students placed on campus at LPU. Moreover, more than 500+ companies visit LPU for recruitment including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India. LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review LPU got Golden Star Award 2018 for being University with the best placements in India. So, all these accolades are feathers in the LPU cap.

Yes, LPU conducts classes for placement preparation known as PEP (Placement Enhancement programme) classes. Not just this, you will have many classes dedicated to placements including soft skill classes and career orientation sessions as well. In soft skill classes, teachers will teach you all the placement etiquette as how to act and interact from HR round to interview, etc. And about career orientation classes, you will have them starting from the end of your 4th semester. Basically, when it comes to placements, LPU makes sure that each of its students is very well prepared. It prepares you for all the placement procedures well in advance. Also, you will always have your seniors, teachers, mentors who are always there to help you out with your problems and queries.

Being an alumnus from LPU and selected in campus placements, I believe I can answer your concern. LPU gives great placement opportunities to its students. Every year breaks its own record of placements. Many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 30 LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. International Companies like Hyatt (USA), Ritz Carlton (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Altruist (Africa), Al-Rakha (Dubai), Dharam Consultancy (USA) have selected LPU student from management discipline. A Student from LPU got placed in Microsoft at a package of 42 LPA. LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). Talking about placement scenario of 2020: 1. Around 630 companies visited LPU for recruitment 2. Around 192 companies offered packages of more than 5 LPA 3. Bosch, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Cap Gemini have been the top recruiters. 4. Trident offered package of 15LPA to many students of LPU. The placement of every dept. Is highly efficient. They regularly conduct mock drives and arrange special placement preparatory classes for placement registered students. They even conduct summer PEP classes during summer vacations in which professional trainers conduct special classes. By the end of your programme you get enough confidence and knowledge that you can crack any interview and grab the opportunity. In short, there is no shortage of placement opportunities to the student of LPU. The only thing you need to do is be consistent in your studies and take part in placement drives actively. Hi there, All I am recently graduated from LPU and now I am alumni of LPU. Those were the best days of our life. Yes Nikki K LPU does conduct placement classes for preparations. They called it PEP classes. This is the very unique thing they do. Apart from that, they have included. Soft skills In this they prepare students for placements. PEP is personality enhancement preparation in this not only they take classes for placements they also organize group discussions. Mock interviews so that students get ready for the interviews and they can clear easily. They prepare in the way that all nervousness of students get clear and students sound confident in interviews. Communication is a big thing while interviews LPU prepares their students in terms of communication skills too. They take care of each and every aspect very carefully they actually make their students industry-ready. As they follow all industry norms during the time of regular calsses of their students that's is the reason LPU's always have a higher rank in term of placements and people do talk about LPU newspaper talk about their success that companies hire students in bulk this is truth LPU's student worth it. The most common and important thing is usually being asked for every college or university. I have spent 4 years in LPU and yes of course I have been placed in good company with the handsome package. Honestly saying LPU has a great role in this. When I joined LPU I was not good at speaking, presenting but LPU gave me all required inputs through PEP classes and Soft Skill Classes which actually groomed me. LPU has a separate department of career services which helps students in every step As per last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum and the maximum packages were 30 to 40 Lacs.
