Does LPU conduct placement classes for preparation?

I am a student of LPU and I am attending PEP classes. It is excellent. These classes are specially conducted in the university's placement cell. Attending every interview or sitting for the placements is compulsory for every non-placed student. The students are tutored on core, aptitude, communication skills, and group discussion, etc. In short, whatever any company seeks in an employee, these classes bridge that gap. University focuses on equipping the students with the necessary skills to carry themselves during an interview. The students are taught to build a positive attitude and help in developing communication skills which form an integral and vital part of one's personality. This is how students are trained for placement drives.

The syllabi of credited inputs are mapped with various competitive exams like GATE Bank- PO, UGC NET SSC UPSC CSIR NET. Non-Credited inputs include practice tests in collaboration with AMCAT, Co-Cubes, Bulls Eye, MyPerfectice. Also the sessions are arranged internally with the Head of the School and experts from reputed institutions which contribute in motivating students to appear for tests and help aspirants to clear their doubts. In order to enhance placements, inputs are designed as per company specific requirements.

Placement Enhancement programme (PEP) classes, which are specially conducted by the university's placement cell. Attending every interview or sitting for the placements is compulsory for every non-placed student. Every student will be given a few chances. PEP classes start from the first semester at LPU itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepares you for placement drives. Over 700 companies come to the campus for placements. LPU average package CSE/IT is usually high and students have secured offers from Amazon at a dream package of INR 28 LPA for LPU CSE placement. LPU also makes efforts in placing international students around their home locations or placing Indian students abroad.

The university has a Centre for Professional Enhancement (CPE), which helps students acquire new skill Sets according to the ongoing industry demands.
