Lovely Professional University is having Tie-Up with multiple foreign Universities all over the world. LPU is a globally connected university, working with the top universities across the world to provide a truly global experience to students. LPU is having dedicated Division of International affairs which actually help & guide the students in all aspect of their International Exposure like Study, International projects, research collaboration, etc. Under the scheme of the Student Exchange programme, LPU is offering study abroad options to students. The offering can be ranged from going abroad for a short duration to getting a degree from a partner University. Yes certainly LPU provides with study abroad option as part of curriculum in the form of 1. Credit Transfer: Student after successful completion of 2 years. At LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme 2. International Exposure Option:Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country 3. Semester Exchange: Student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester And all the above options are decided by the University subject to conditions. Even the above option depends on the course opted.

YES! As per my knowledge, LPU has a study abroad option, one of my friends had got the chance to avail this option. Credit Transfer Programme is one of the best options in International exposure that is offered to students at LPU. Under this programme students are transferred to a foreign partner Universities and receive a degree from foreign Partner University after successful completion of Programme. University has a list of partner universities from Canada which can viewed on website, few of them are Cape Breton University Canada, Trent University Canada, University of Lethbridge, Canada, Northern Lights College, Red River College and many more. They also offer a student exchange programme that allows management and engineering students to study in international universities for a semester or a certain period of time, in exchange for students from other international universities coming to study at LPU. LPU has tie-ups with over 50 international universities like Birmingham University, Mount Royal University, etc. In different countries like the USA, Australia, Canada, UK, China, Switzerland, etc. In International Exposure Programme, They offer short visits to an overseas university. Such visits help a student to learn about the culture of a new country and also in exploring the available opportunities. In these programmes the visits are generally for a period of 2 to 4 weeks. University has developed a series of international study programs with partner universities which instils a sense of global citizenship in the students and enables them to be competitive in an increasingly "flat" world. LPU has tie up with over 150 foreign universities from UK USA Australia to name a few. Couple of popular universities that can be mentioned for foreign tie ups are : University of Malaya Newcastle University Curtin University Victoria University of Wellington Heriot Watt University of Essex Massey University Memorial University of Newfoundland University of Guelph University of Nantes California State University San Bernardino State University of New York Brock University Laurentian University Swinburne University of Wisconsin Madison & many more There is a separate department known as the Division of International Affairs at LPU. The student has been given choice of Credit Transfer Programmes, Semester Exchange Programmes, Summer/ Winter School and International internships Masters Abroad Programmes. The student can choose out of these options and let the university know however, he is supposed to maintain a certain CGPA and at the given time the university facilitates the transfer.
