The services that have been included are- Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Indian Coast Guard Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seem Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Security Guards (NSG), Special Frontier Force (SFF), Assam Riffles, Border Road organisation, General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Military Engineers Service MS Defence Security Corps (DSC), Ordnance Factory Board. The student can get a maximum of 50% tuition fee waiver under this scholarship and a minimum of 20% for sure. I am alumni of LPU, I would say, LPU is one of the best choices indeed. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. During my post-graduation I got 100% scholarship on the basis of achievements in sports and it continued till last semester of my MBA. I represented LPU in AIU level and won gold medal. A relaxation of 5% in eligibility will be given for all categories and programmes (Diploma, Programmes after 10+2, Programmes after Graduation etc. ). For the study of Defense Personnel:- Category A: Recipient of Gallantry award 50% Tuition Fee Waiver Category B: Serving Officers (Other than above) nominated through study leave - 30% Tuition Fee Waiver For the study of dependents of Defense Personnel:- Category A: Dependents of Recipient of Gallantry award 30% Tuition Fee Waiver Category B: Dependents of Serving personnel/ ex-servicemen/ retired personnel - 20% Tuition Fee Waiver Eligibility Relaxation: (a) A relaxation of 5% in eligibility will be given for all categories and programs (Diploma, Programs after 10+2, Programs after Graduation etc. ). (b) All the serving officers (from all the forces covered under this policy), who are willing to take admission in LPU through study leave will be exempted from entrance exam and interview conducted by LPU (Except Ph.D. & LL.
