Does LPU offers B.Tech in agricultural engineering?

Hi Mitali, The study of agriculture is known as agricultural Science. The related practice of gardening is studied in horticulture. The duration of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is four years. No, LPU doesn't offer B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering but LPU provides B.Sc. Agriculture Programme details - Building expertise through well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Creating professionals to tackle the dogma from SEED to stomach.

Hi, LPU offers B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture. LPU is well known for its B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. Etera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Thanks.

As per my findings LPU doesn't offer B.Tech in agricultural engineering but If you are interested in exploring Agricultural Sciences and practices in contemporary times, you should go for B.Sc. Not actually, it does offer B.Sc. Hons agriculture. In addition to the regular course work, especially designed practical courses like Hands on training, Practical crop production, Rural and Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE), Nursery raising for horticulture crops, Crop And SEED Identification Laboratory, Soil And Water Sampling And Analysis, Soil Description And Interpretation Discipline Highlights: Agriculture laboratory, Organic And Chemical Fertilizer, Manure Identification And Application Laboratory, Introductory Nematology, Disease Of Horticultural Crops And Their Management, Practical Floriculture And Vegetable Crop Production Laboratory, Bio-Safety Rules And Intellectual Property Rights are offered to promote practical implication of various courses which train students for industry. Students are exposed to Commercial farms (100 acres) to know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. They were also engaged in complete cultivation practice of seasonal crops for 6 months, wherein land preparation till harvesting and marketing of the final products will be done by student to expose farming experience. On inquiring, I came to know that LPU offers ICAR approved B.Sc. (H) Agriculture and there is no such programme I. e B.Tech Agricultural Engineering which is offered by the university. Primary Prospects: Students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. B. Secondary Prospects: Other career options as Sales Officer in private companies and Technical Representatives in pesticide, fertilizer, SEED and irrigation companiesOpportunities include pursuing higher studies in reputed universities in India and abroad c.
