Specifically created hands-on training, practical crop production, rural and agriculture work experience (RAWE), nursery raising for horticulture crops, crop and seed identification laboratory, soil and water sampling and analysis, and soil description and interpretation discipline are among the specially created practical courses that are offered in addition to the regular coursework. Highlights: To encourage the practical application of various courses that prepare students for industry, laboratories for agriculture, organic and chemical fertilizer, manure identification and application, introductory nematology, disease of horticultural crops and their management, practical floriculture and vegetable crop production, bio-safety regulations, and intellectual property rights are provided.
Students are exposed to 100-acre commercial farms to get knowledge that gives them the chance to participate and improve their stamina, self-assurance, and managerial abilities.
For six months, they also participated in the full production of seasonal crops, where students prepared the land, harvested it, and marketed the finished goods to get expertise in farming.
Profits from sales are distributed exclusively among group students.

For the on-campus and off-campus drives in 2018–19, 2019–20, and 2020–21, respectively, more than 44, 46, and 43 prestigious companies and industries are participating.
Every year, about 90% of the students are placed.
With a maximum package offer of 5.68 lacs, the main companions of the drive were Syngenta PVT LTD, Tata Rallis India, Bioseed, Emami, GSR, IFFCO, Dhanuka, ITC, Relience Agr. Retail, Uniborn, HDFC Bank, Intellow Lab, and WIPRO.
