    Hi there, LPU does not offer B.Tech Agriculture rather offers Agriculture course as B.Sc. Hons. Agriculture. As, this specialisation is mostly preferred as same. Choosing LPU for Agriculture is definitely the best option. LPU provides all the necessary resources which helps the students to excel in their field. Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days, LPU is the first university to get the ICAR accreditation for agriculture courses.     Lovely professional University School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped Laboratories, Library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. LPU is First private University in India which is apprived by ICAR. I did MBA from LPU, During my post graduation years I had few friends from agriculture department, Sometimes I used to visit fields, Labs with them they also discussed about placements, academic, placements etc. So I have Idea about this course.     Hi, Agriculture is the process of producing food, feed, fiber and many other desired products by the cultivation of certain plants and the raising of domesticated animals (livestock) and that what LPU teach to students. I would like to tell you that at LPU you will get the desired exposure in the farms of LPU where you will come to know in deep about agriculture with hands-on sessions.     Hi, LPU does offer B.Sc. Hons Agriculture but not the B.Tech degree in agriculture. This course is ICAR accredited, due to ICAR accreditation large numbers of companies are visiting the campus. Agriculture deals with well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country or option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions.     No, LPU does not provide B.Tech Agriculture. Yet LPU provides B.Sc. Agriculture is the strongest programme at LPU because it is accredited by ICAR. Placements: Top recruiting companies are Tata, Rallis India Limited, Syngenta, and Reliance Stores. All batch members got a decent number of internship opportunities.
