Does LPU offers B.Tech in agricultural engineering?

LPU Offers B.Sc. Agriculture hons. Lovely professional University School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms.

LPU is a first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (government. of India). LPU School of Agriculture has been granted accreditation by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, making it the first and only private University in the country to receive the accreditation. LPU got this accreditation last year (2018). All the courses that run at undergraduate and post graduate level are all accredited by ICAR. It counts B.Sc (Hons. ) Agriculture, M.Sc Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, an autonomous body responsible for coordinating agricultural education and research in India. LPU does not offer B.Tech in agricultural engineering.

Dear Narain Sharma, No, LPU does not offer B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering. However, LPU offers B.Sc. (Hons. ). In Agriculture which is ICAR approved. LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR. (I). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years with a GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72 Placement: LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Sanra organics, and many more. The highest package of this programme at LPU is 19.25 LPA and the average package is 3.4 LPA. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement.
