Does LPU provide any placement to B.A LL.B graduates?

1. Other than LPU placements, students can attain positions as Legal Practitioner, Judicial Officer in civil, criminal, taxation, intellectual property rights. 2. Beyond the classroom, regular moot courts sessions help students appreciate various interpretations of law and develop analytical ability and argumentative skills. 3. Guest lectures/ workshops are also organized. 4. Project Expo: present your knowledge in this events and attractive prizes also.

Dear Student, Students generally land up with pre-placement offers from law firms, advocates, corporate houses, etc. For practice as interns. Many students go for Judicial services. A few choose higher studies and those who have good CGPA, land up with heavy scholarships for studies for LL. M. In some cases, students get monthly stipend whereas in other cases, students get monthly salary during training period. Students can attain positions as Legal Practitioner, Judicial Officer in civil, criminal, taxation, intellectual property right after completing their internships. Compulsory internship/training programme encourages students to conduct original research and inculcates in them the art of presenting a particular subject before the class. Internships and moot trials help you blend theoretical knowledge with practical challenges. You spend time on conducting mock trial courts and you work with NGOs, Supreme Court and High Court Judges, companies, law firms, both national and international. Ultimately it all depends on the student where he wants to SEE himself after graduating from the college and to identify in which branch of law his interests lies. Thanks.

LPU offers more than 250 programmes where Law is one among them. The School of Law is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and its curriculum is also provided by BCI and in order to make students top-to-date and the latest trends in the field of law, the School of Law takes initiatives to modify the curriculum as and when need arises. Students have undergone internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses and NGOs. The Alumni's are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners and Corporate advisors and Civil servants. In addition to this, MOOT court sessions are also provided to experience the scenario of courts. Some of the companies which have made or shown interest in recruitment from our campus are: MAP Legal Corporation, Manupatra & Co, Integrity Associates, LEGASIS, Thomson Reuters have recruited the students and many more at the annual package of Rs. 300000 per annum and above. Placements for LL.B students though is less in number as most prefer to go for government Jobs or private practices. Moreover, the placement opportunities may also seem less as LL.B. or the law stream has been still improving their curriculum in addition to the quality of students intake. Moreover, if the course is taken seriously there are lot many fields in private sector being a lawyer or related jobs which the LL.B. students enjoy as they don't need companies to visit for their career. Moreover, as a precise answer, you need to work really hard to get a job at LPU through campus placements due to huge competition and scarcity of active companies visiting.

Yes, LPU provides good placements to BA LLB graduates. Every year more than 90% students get placed.
